Why hydroponics, and why indoors
Most people who look at hydroponics want the same thing: herbs and salad that are actually fresh, grown somewhere that has no garden. A flat, a balcony, a north facing kitchen, or a winter that runs from October to April.
Growing without soil solves that. The nutrient solution does what soil does, so the growing happens wherever you have room for a tub and a socket, in whatever month it happens to be.
Three sizes, not one
An eleven site tub for a worktop, a thirty six site kit on one slanted frame, and a hundred and eight sites across three tiers when you want to be cutting something every week. Starting small and moving up is a perfectly good plan, and nothing you learn on the small one is wasted.
We also sell the parts that go around a system: a dual head LED grow light for when daylight is not enough, grow tents, and seed trays for the stage before the system.
Being straight about what it is not
A growing system does not by itself make produce organic or change its nutritional value. In the UK, calling food organic when it is sold commercially depends on the grower's practices and on registration with an approved organic control body. What the system does is put the plant close enough that you can cut it and eat it the same day. These systems suit leafy crops and herbs better than root vegetables or heavy fruiting plants. We would rather say that up front than take the order and hear about it later.
How we work
We are an online shop with no physical premises, which is how the prices stay where they are. You order on this site, pay by card through Stripe or by PayPal, and we ship right across the UK. Delivery is free on orders of £50 or more, and a flat £22 under that, arriving up to 7 working days by tracked courier, after dispatch within 2 working days.

Delivery
Delivery across the UK is free on orders of £50 or more. Below that there is a flat £22 charge, shown in your cart before you pay. Orders are dispatched within 2 working days, then delivered within 7 working days by tracked courier. Express Delivery is a paid £22 upgrade, picked in the cart. You can pay by card through Stripe, or with PayPal. Our shipping page has the full detail.
If something is not right
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to everything we sell. If an item turns up faulty, or it is not what the page described, email us and we will put it right. You can also cancel an order for a change of mind within 14 days of delivery and send it back, at your cost for the return postage. Our refunds and returns page explains how that works.

Who is behind Hydroponics Company
Hydroponics Company is part of a family-owned group of online stores. Our CEO, Renoo Caruso, is a Christian preacher based in Phetchaburi, Thailand. Renoo leads a local church with a congregation of more than 200 people and shares daily Bible teaching in Thai through renoo.faith and a YouTube channel with over 1,600 videos.
That faith shapes how we trade. Clear prices, honest product details, and a real person answering your email. We would rather lose a sale than mislead a customer.

What is in the box
Kits arrive with the pump, the channels or tub, the baskets and the sponges. You supply the reservoir, the nutrient solution and the seeds.
Seed trays
Seed starter trays with humidity domes, five to a pack, for raising seedlings before they move into a system.
Grow lights and tents
A dual head clip on lamp with a gooseneck and a built in timer, and tents that keep that light on the plants instead of on the walls.

Once your order is shipped, it will be marked as complete in our database and you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.
DO YOU HAVE A SHOP LOCATION?
We are an online supplier, with no physical shop or premises. Selling online only keeps our running costs down, and that is reflected in our prices.
DO I GET A RECEIPT FOR MY ORDER?
You will be sent a receipt for your order by email after payment is made. You will also receive a confirmation email with a tracking number once your item has been shipped.
WHAT ARE YOUR DELIVERY OPTIONS AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
We deliver right across the UK with a tracked courier. Delivery is free on orders of £50 or more, and a flat £22 below that. Express Delivery is offered at checkout as a paid upgrade at £22 whatever your order comes to. Orders are dispatched within 2 working days and then delivered in up to 7 working days by tracked courier. You get a tracking link by email as soon as your order leaves us.
